Miami Heat debut the “Big 2″
Miami Heat Displays the Big 2
The Miami Heat tonight was favored by 11 points in the first preseason game against the Detroit Pistons. They were going to display their Big 3 superstars of Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. However, with 3 minutes into the start of the game, Dwayne Wade ended up tweaking his hamstring. It then turned into the Big 2. I must say I was worried because I ended up picking the Heat to cover the spread of 11.
Miami Heat Lebron James and Chris Bosh
Well even though Wade had 2 points and only played for the first three minutes, Lebron and Chris picked up his slack and both finished with over 20 points each. The game was out of reach by the middle of the second quarter. The Miami Heat mostly led by 20 the whole game. It looked like it wasn’t even fair either. If the Pistons want to be a contender for most of the season they need to do something different quickly.
Johnny C. Predictions of Miami Heat wins and Individual honors
I see the Miami Heat winning 68 games which is 3 short of the record of 71 by the 1996 Chicago Bulls. Look for Lebron James to average a triple double. Lebron James will be the second player in NBA History to accomplish that statistic. Look for the Miami Heat’s defense to be the best in the league.
Mike Miller will win the 6th Man award. Chris Bosh’s scoring average will be dropped between 16 to 18 points a game, however his shooting percentage and offensive rebounds will rise drastically. I also predict he will lead the league in field goal percentage also. From the looks of it the Miami Heat for me will be the favorites to win it all. In regards to betting on them it will be hard because through my experience in picking games with this much talent, Vegas makes the spreads very hard to win.
So before placing bets on the upcoming Miami Heat games lets see how Vegas treats the spreads first.
